As many of you know, my favorite artist to interview is Dolly Parton! This week I had another chance to hang out with her and we talked about her new single and video "Better Get To Livin'." I love this song and its message. Dolly reminds us to get on with life and not waste too much time feeling sorry for ourselves. It's obviously worked for her.

We also discussed the 9 to 5 musical, for which she has written all of the songs. The casting is pretty much set, and I am sure it will be a smash hit. She hasn't given up on the idea of her own life story being made into a musical one day, but said that is probably a few years off. I will be first in line to see that show.

Dolly also hopes to work on a project for children soon. She hasn't quite figured out what the project will be but says she'd like to do something that appeals to children and adults alike. I don't think there is much this petite powerhouse can't do!
