Christy and Kevin's Redneck Wedding

Posted: February 4th, 2008 at 10:03 am  |  By: Kim Sorensen

Christy and Kevin

Christy and Kevin share their wedding day experience from My Big Redneck Wedding.

We had a redneck wedding that included the great outdoors, a mule and a horse, four-wheelers, mattress surfing, mud wrestling, line dancing, camouflage tuxes, Wrangler skirts and boots, a wedding dress and boots and a few other redneck games. I think we all enjoyed the mattress surfing the most, and between me and Kevin the redneck vows we exchanged (He was to accept all my stray animals, and I was to accept his huntin' dogs and buddies, lol). The wedding turned out to be more than better than we expected it to. Our friends and family are still talking about it every time we see or talk to them. As for the wedding, Kevin was a bit nervous when I showed up an hour late, and then he couldn't find his clothes. My moments were when my dad was giving me away. A little I could feel he was nervous. It had us both caught up in the moment. Me and Kevin and all the rest of the wedding party and all that helped out were excited that we made it through it alive, lol, and that it had went so well and that we could tell our guests (and the people that came that we didn't even know or invite, lol) were having a great time! That would conclude our REDNECK WEDDING! Yee haww.

This makes city people the biggest laugh they will ever experience. Also the wedding in Copperfield; oh please give me a break. I am a mountain girl; but this is what give people something to say and laugh at ORAL HYGIENE. Get real people. I plan on having an ordinary church wedding. Dont you believe in GOD. And not an open cow field.

  • Georgia Peach says:

    Posted: February 10th, 2008 at 8:05 pm

hey bitch Connie Lipps…i think you need to go stick your “lipps” in a big pile of cow shit. City people can fuck off we watch them do dumb shit all the time on tv and die from it. By the way you need to learn a little about Kyle and Geneva from COPPERHILL, dumbass, because they do believe in God and good oral hygiene. Check out the comment they made on their board. Go suck on some cunt “lipps” mother fucker. What the fuck did they do soo bad?

Lordy, that might be a fun party…but a wedding? With mud wrastlin’ and mattress surfin’ in a field full of cow manure? Whatever floats yer boat…but please honey, you need to smile some more, or find somethin’ to smile about. Good luck.

One of my favorite parts was the shopping at the Tractor Supply Store “Look at the onesie! This is better than Babies R Us.”
    LMAO!!

    What a fun episode!

What did you do with your mud stained wedding dress?

To those who thought the wedding was great think you! to those who thought other nasty things I could say some really nasty things back my self but since I am a christian Ill keep them to my self and say for one I happened to become very Ill with a bad Sinus infection the whole time They were taping so you try having some one tape you when All you feel like doing is laying in bed. Plus not every person that came out to tape us was friendly and patient and made us say lines over and over again to where it wasnt like real T.V so maybe you need to think of things that happened during taping not just waht you seen. There was so.. much more that they taped where I was laughing, smiling, having a good old time it wasnt my choice what they picked to show from a months worth of taping. Every one is made different for a reason and if you dont like different people then go some where far away were no one lives because the world is full of different people that do and like different thinks if you think Rednecks or country people are dumb or stupid whyed did you watch the show in the first place? Doesnt make you look any better! God says no where in the bible that you have to have a wedding in a church or you’ll be damned to hell. He created that beautiful pasture why would he have a problem if we had our wedding in it? thats pretty crappy to be called white trash or any other standard close to that. you dont know us or see what goes on every day of our lives. I wouldnt judge a sinlge person in any of the episodes they were all great and different in there own special way. you can judge all you want now but just remeber you’ll be judged by God one day and I’d love to be there when he asks you why you said the things you did about others when your own life is nothing but sin. So please tell me what gives you the right?

Christy - what do you call the game that was played at the reception where the guys had a hot dog hanging from a string and trying to hit a ball with it? That was hilarious! We want to make our husbands do that at an annual 4th of July party we go to. After a few beers and jello shots, the hubbies should be ready to go!

  • Christy says:

to Krist- the wedding was not in Lithia I dont know why they showed the Luptons sign it threw every one off, we had it at Starky ranch in Odessa you can access the web site by looking up Flat wood Adventures I think it is. It is a beautiful place full of big deer, hogs, turkey and otehr wild life.
ok now to hbforeman_31- some good birthday plans would be maybe take her to a mud hole, mattress surfing, have a bon fire party I dont know just come to my house Im sure we can find something to do,lol ride the pig! woo hoo just kidding, um no im not ,lol.

to Yankee- the dress we used to wrestle we washed it took it to my moms got this Crazy idea to let my Bff try it on it fitt her lol. we took pictures lol. hey it cleaned up good believe it or not.

to missy- the game they played they called it sausage polo, it was pretty funny huh, I had no idea they were going ot do that.

Alright Id love to stay longer but its Friday night her in Lithia and were going to do some night ridin on the four wheeelers,

Christy and Kevin, Loved the show and wish both of you the best of luck in the future. I can’t believe some of the comments and rude remarks some people say. Who are they to judge? All the shows I have seen the people are just themselves and not at all phony or pretentious. That’s what makes the shows so great. God Bless.

Website says she’s vet tech, which is very cool. They’re the people who do all the preliminary stuff with your pet.
They made a gorgeous couple and Christy is so pretty when she smiles:)
The guests looked happy and comfortable which you sure can’t always say about formal weddings.
I had my wedding in the back yard of my house and the reception right by our pool. People wore shorts, ate BBQ, hopped into the pool and drank and told stories until five in the morning.

Your wedding looked as if it was a ton of fun. Your sister was hilarious, I hope you didn’t get ringworm!!! It amazes me how some people can waste so much energy thinking of only negative things to say about others. Although that does mean that you are on their minds a lot and they are making you a big part of their lives. Best of luck to both of you.

Loved your wedding! It was great! Glad to see some fellow Floridians who know how to have a good time. :)

Our state is definitely the best one to have a country wedding in. I’ll never forget mine, that’s for sure. Yours was more elaborate, far more, and I just LOVED it!! I caught myself saying at times during your episode, “now why didn’t I think of that?!” I can’t say that for any other episode.

You two showed that Florida knows how to party, and there’s more to us than beaches and palm trees. For that, you rock!! :)

The wedding was a hoot, most of the camera crews were were a lot of fun, and I had a lot of fun too. Definitely not MY style, but I am glad they decided to do something out-of-the-ordinary. Hey, why not.;)Don’t knock it until you try it…lol The best part about it was the look of amazement on my co-worker’s faces, they had no idea. We are STILL laughing about the whole thing. Definately an ice breaker. I hope everyone enjoyed it.

MAYBE BOBBY CAN, IF HE WANTS TO INJECT HIMSELF INTO COUNTRY IF HE IS ACCEPTED BY US THE FANS, ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO ADMIT HE IS LIKE WATCHING TO WAIT FOR THE TRAIN TO WRECK AND HE GOES FLYING OFF INTO WHEREVER LAND. JUST MY THOUGHTS. GO MUZIK MAFIA YEEHAW!
